AML TALKS is a free lecture and networking series presented by Regpit, focusing on AML, financial crime, and the implementation of compliance requirements.

He represents the German Association of Payment Institutions and advises FinTech companies on regulatory matters.

Olaf Bausch

Director of Financial Services – Hogan Lovells

Olaf Bausch advises German and international companies on the implementation of regulatory requirements and the German Money Laundering Act. He is regularly appointed as a Money Laundering Reporting Officer and has extensive practical experience, including as a staff member at BaFin, as a compliance officer, and as a consultant. He is a member of the executive board of the German Association of Payment and E-Money Institutions.

Dr. Jacob Wende

CEO – Regpit

Dr. Jacob Wende is an expert in anti-money laundering and regulatory compliance. He is the founder and CEO of Regpit, a RegTech company specializing in AML compliance and sanctions management. The qualified lawyer also serves as editor-in-chief of the professional journal “Geldwäsche & Recht” (GWuR) and is a contributing author to the commentary on the German Money Laundering Act published by Deutscher Fachverlag.
