FATF plenary session February 2025

FATF list of jurisdictions under increased monitoring (the so-called “grey list”). The FATF has published the outcomes of its plenary session held from 19 to 21 February 2025.

The following countries were added to the FATF’s “grey list” of jurisdictions under increased monitoring:

- Lao People's Democratic Republic

- Nepal

The following country is no longer subject to FATF increased monitoring:

- Philippines

According to the FATF, the Philippines have made significant progress in addressing their strategic AML deficiencies. However, they remain on the EU list of high-risk third countries for the time being. As a result, enhanced due diligence measures must still be applied.
