FATF plenary meeting February 2025

FATF list of countries under increased observation (so-called "grey list"). The FATF publishes the results of the plenary meeting from 19 to 21 February 2025.

It was decided to include the following countries on the FATF's "grey list":

- Lao People's Democratic Republic

- Nepal

No longer under increased FATF supervision:

- Philippines

According to the FATF, the Philippines has made significant progress in addressing strategic AML deficiencies. However, it is currently still on the EU list of high-risk third countries. Therefore, enhanced due diligence obligations must continue to be applied.
